- OBJECTIVE:
The Purpose of this SOP is to lay down the procedure for entry and exit to packaging department.
- SCOPE:
This SOP is applicable for entry & exit of all personnel working in packing area at manufacturing facility of xxx
- RESPONSIBILITY:
Packaging Personnel shall be responsible for entering and exit from the packing department as per the procedure.
Head packaging shall be responsible for effective implementation of procedure.
- PROCEDURE:
4.1 FOR ENTRY:
4.1.1 Enter in the first air lock of the man entry by pushing the door inter lock switch
and then open the door.
4.1.2 Disinfect the hands with Sterillium / 70 % IPA solution provided in the air lock.
4.1.3 Collect the boiler suit, cap, and snood from Lenin room.
4.1.4 Enter in the change room.
4.1.5 Keep the boiler suit, cap and snood on SS bench.
4.1.6 Remove street clothes and keep it on the hanger provided in the change room.
4.1.7 Remove the street shoes / slippers and keep in locker, keep personal belonging (if any) in locker.
4.1.8 Step over the SS bench.
4.1.9 Wear boiler suit and cap.
4.1.10 Wear company’s footwear from locker, disinfect the hands with Sterillium / 70% IPA solution. Take snood from SS bench before going to their respective work place.
4.1.11 Wear snood before entering the respective area as per instruction.
4.2 FOR EXIT:
4.2.1 In change room, remove company’s foot wear and keep it in the locker.
4.2.2 Remove the boiler suit and cap and keep it on SS bench.
4.2.3 Step over the SS bench.
4.2.4 Wear street clothes and shoes. Take your used boiler suit and cap from the SS bench and come out of the change room.
4.2.5 keep used boiler suit and cap in the trolley provided near Lenin room.
- Push door inter lock switch and ensure that the opposite door is closed.
4.3 FOR TOILET:
4.3.1 In change room, remove company’s foot wear and keep it in the locker.
4.3.2 Remove the boiler suit and cap and keep it on SS bench
4.3.3 Step over the SS bench.
4.3.4 Wear personal clothes and shoes. Take your used boiler suit and cap from the SS bench and Keep it on the hanger.
4.3.5 After returning from toilet follow the complete entry procedure.
