SOP For cleaning & numbering procedure for containers and SS accessories.

The purpose of this SOP is to provide a procedure for the cleaning & numbering procedure for containers and SS accessories.

This SOP is applicable to cleaning & numbering procedure for container and SS accessories at manufacturing facility of XXX.

RESPONSIBILITY:
- Authorized designee of Production shall be responsible for cleaning & numbering procedure for containers and SS accessories.
- Head of Production shall be responsible for effective implementation of the SOP.
NUMBERING PROCEDURE FOR CONTAINERS/ SS ACCESSORIES:
- All container should have identification number as follows:
  - All S.S square containers ID shall be SC01, SC02, etc.
  - All H.D.P.E. containers ID shall be HC01, HC02, etc.
  - All SS IPCs ID shall be IC01, IC02, etc.
  - All SS Round containers ID shall be RC01, RC02, etc.
  - All SS solvent containers ID shall be SV01, SV02, etc.
  - All scoops ID shall be AS01, AS02, etc. and ladle shall beAL01, AL02, etc. and tub shall be AT01, AT02, etc.
- CLEANING OF CONTAINERS/ SS ACCESSORIES:
  - Transfer the containers to washing area of respective section and clean inner & outer surface with potable water followed by nylon scrubber and then with potable water till the entire residue is washed.
  - Finally rinse the container with purified water.
  - Dry the containers with clean lint free cloth and affix “CLEANED” label.
  - Record the cleaning details of container in annexure-I.
  - All SS accessories shall be cleaned with the machine for which it was used.
  - Re-clean the containers/ SS accessories if not used within 72 hours.

Trainer : Head – Production.

Trainees : Staff of Production.
