The purpose of this sop is to lay down a procedure for cleaning of instruments and equipments in Quality Control Department
This SOP is applicable for cleaning of instruments and equipments in Quality Control Department at manufacturing facility of Pharmaceutical Industry.
PROCEDURE :
Before start cleaning, ensure that no analysis is on going on the instrument or equipment.
Ensure that instrument/Equipment is electrically free.
Remove the dismantle part of the Equipment/Instrument under the supervision of Analyst.
Dry clean the Equipment/Instrument with the clean cloth.
DISSOLUTION TESTER WATER BATH/ WATER BATH
Ensure that the instrument is electrically free.
Drain the water from Dissolution tester water bath by water suction tube.
Clean the body of the dissolution water bath with a cloth soaked in soap solution.
Rinse the bath with water.
Fill the bath with water.
DISINTEGARTION TESTER WATER BATH
Ensure that the instrument is electrically free.
Drain the water from Disintegration tester water bath.
Clean the body of the Disintegration tester water bath with soap solution.
Rinse the bath with water.
Fill the bath with water.
