SOP For Mobile Phase Filtration Assembly


The purpose of this SOP is to lay down a procedure for Mobile phase filtration assembly in Quality control department.

  1. SCOPE: 

This SOP is applicable to Mobile phase filtration assembly in Quality Control Department at manufacturing facility.    

    1. Analyst or his designee shall be responsible for follow the SOP.
    2. The Head of Quality Control Department or his designee shall be responsible for implementation of the SOP.

    BASIC OPERATION 4.1      PRELIMINARY CHECKS                           4.1.1   Check and ensure that the equipment is clean, dust free from dust. If not, clean the        instrument using lint free cloth.
4.1.2   Check that the instrument is connected to 230 volts stabilized power supply. 
                                                                                             BASIC OPERATION 
2.1.Connect the mains to the 230 V/AC socket. 
2.2.Switch on the power. 
4.2.3   Open the screw of the assembly, put purified water into the vessel to clean the vessel to avoid   contamination before filtration of mobile phase.
4.2.4    Ensure that there is no leakage of water. 
2.5. Switch ‘ON’ the vacuum pump. 4.2.6 After filtration of mobile phase switch off the vacuum pump.
 4.2.7    Now remove the filtration assembly and select the particular filtration for your mobile phase.
After the filtration of mobile phase, flush the filtration assembly with purified water.     Switch off the vacuum pump then switch off the equipment.
4.2.9 Do not keep the equipment ‘ON ‘after use.
            MAINTENANCE :
4.3.1 Be sure to unplug the equipment ‘ON’ after use..
